We just a record ya’ll… 2,483,374 pounds of recyclables were recovered during this year’s Unboxing Christmas campaign. With the proceeds, we were able to present a check in the amount of $2,500 to Soldier’s Wish.
The campaign lasted from December 26 through January 6th and was designed to encourage recycling of most of the Christmas waste and packaging this year. Items that could not be processed through Mr. Murph were sent to the new waste to energy processing plant at American Environmental Landfill and turned in to power.
Way to go, Tulsa! Campaigns like this are a great way to bring awareness for the need for recycling and doing something meaningful to honor our veterans and those who gave everything for our freedoms.
